Samuhik Vivah

Samuhik Vivah (Mass Wedding Program):

In rural areas, many Farmers, Laborers, and Tribal Families live in poverty. Their daily livelihood depends entirely on hard work — without labor, their households cannot run. Many of them work as daily wage earners and struggle even to afford basic necessities.

Among them are Poor Parents with Daughters, who are unable to bear the heavy financial burden of marriage expenses and dowry. Because of this, many daughters remain unmarried, despite their parents’ deep desire to see them settled.

Our Initiative:

To support such families, Gramonnati Seva Pratishthan has launched a noble initiative to Organize Samuhik Vivah for poor and needy couples.

Under this program, the organization conducts Community Weddings Once a Year, according to the wishes and convenience of the participating families. The entire ceremony — including all arrangements — is managed by our organization Without Any Expense to the bride’s family.

Our Mission:

Through this initiative, our organization performs the Kanyadan (sacred giving away of the bride) on behalf of poor parents and ensures that their daughters are married with dignity, respect, and joy — free from the burden of dowry and financial stress.

This program reflects our belief that Every Girl Deserves a Respectful Marriage and a Happy Beginning to Her New Life, regardless of her family’s economic condition.
