Swachh Gaav Abhiyan (Clean Village Initiative)

In many villages, Stagnant and Polluted Water has become a serious issue. Around the village, heaps of Solid Waste and Garbage are scattered everywhere, creating an unhygienic environment. The Drinking Water in these areas is not treated, and people are forced to drink Untreated and Unsafe Water, which leads to various diseases.

Wastewater is often discharged openly within the village, and garbage is dumped in nearby areas instead of being properly disposed of. As a result, villages are far from achieving true cleanliness and hygiene.

Current Challenges

Most villages lack basic sanitation infrastructure such as:

  • Sanitation Workers for regular cleaning
  • Fogging Machines for mosquito control
  • Pest Control Measures
  • Waste Collection Systems
  • Cutting of Unwanted Vegetation
  • Government Schemes focused on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness

Our Initiative

To address these issues, Gramonnati Seva Pratishthan has launched the Swachh Gaav Abhiyan, a program dedicated to making villages Clean, Healthy, and Hygienic in the true sense.

Under this initiative, our organization carries out:

  • Fogging Operations using fog machines to control mosquitoes
  • Collection and Removal of Waste from villages using cutters and tools
  • Spraying of Mosquito Repellent Medicines in affected areas
  • Treatment of Water sources by adding Bleaching Powder for disinfection
  • Night-time Fogging Operations to ensure maximum impact and safety

Our Mission:

Through Swachh Gaav Abhiyan, Gramonnati Seva Pratishthan is doing what has never been done before — bringing genuine cleanliness, sanitation, and health protection to rural communities.
Our mission is to create Disease-free, Clean, and Livable Villages, where every person can enjoy a safe and healthy environment.
